There are times when a school will want to remove a course or section that was previously approved for student enrollment. Removing approval ensures the course and its corresponding sections are no longer visible on your school’s pre-approved list, preventing further registrations.
Step-by-Step Instructions
To remove approval for a course and its sections:
Under Discovery & Guidance> Course Catalog from the left navigation pane, click the All Acadeum Courses tab (Image 1)
- Filter for approved courses by clicking the Approved toggle in the filter area (Image 2)
- Navigate to the specific course you wish to remove the approval and click See Details (Image 3)
- Click Remove Approval in the upper right corner of the course details
The course and all corresponding sections are now removed from your school’s pre-approved list. These sections will no longer be visible to students during their search process.
Note: Only Home Institution administrators with the appropriate role can modify course approval statuses for their institution.
