Review this short list to determine student readiness, and to confirm understanding of differences, before engaging in an Acadeum course.

Taking a course at another school can seem a little overwhelming, but it doesn't have to be. There are a few things that we want to be certain you are prepared for when engaging in online course at another school.

• Do you have consistent access to a laptop or PC to complete online coursework?

• Do you have consistent access to a WIFI connection?

• You may be completing a consortium course in an LMS/platform that is different than the one used at [School name]. Please confirm that you are prepared to ask for help navigating the LMS/platform if needed.

• You will receive login credentials and further instructions from the teaching institution once you are enrolled in the consortium course. Please confirm that you are prepared to seek assistance if you are having trouble accessing your consortium course at the start of the term.

• Your consortium course may have different course policies pertaining to due dates, late assignments, frequent course engagement, etc. Please confirm that you are prepared to navigate these policies and seek assistance if needed.
