Title IX, Title VI, Age Discrimination Act, Americans with Disabilities Act

Under consortium agreements, Teaching Institutions are responsible for complying with the requirements of Title IX of the Education Amendments of 1972 (“Title IX”), Title VI of the Civil Rights Act of 1964 (“Title VI”), the Age Discrimination Act of 1975, and the Americans with Disabilities Act of 1990 (“ADA) when teaching and interacting with Home Institution students. Specific requirements under these Acts should be detailed in consortium agreements.
