The Student Requests page centralizes enrollment applications from your students who wish to take courses at other institutions via the Acadeum Course Share (ACS) Student App. Use this page to review, approve, or deny requests and ensure student profiles are complete before moving them to the next stage of enrollment.

Navigating the Student Requests Page
The Student Requests page uses a tabbed layout to separate active requests from historical records:
- New: Displays active requests from students awaiting your institutional action (Image A)
- Finalized: Lists requests where action has already been taken, such as those that are approved, denied, canceled, or expired (Image B)
Reviewing and Processing Requests
When a student requests a course that your institution has pre-mapped and approved, it will appear in the New tab.
To View and Action a Request
- Click Student Requests in the left navigation pane
- Click New Requests
- Click Review next to a student's name
- After reviewing the details, select Approve or Deny in the bottom right corner
Approving a Request
- Ensure a Course Substitute is assigned (this is required for approval)
- Click Approve
Result: The student receives an approval email, and the request is sent to the Teaching Institution (TI) for final review
Tracking for HIs: Monitor these under the Live tab on the Manage Enrollments page
Tracking for TIs: Once enrollment requests are approved by the Teaching Institution, they will move from the Student Requests page to Manage Enrollments> Teaching Enrollments >Accepted tab
Denying a Request
- Click Deny within the student request
- Enter the reason for the denial in the pop-up box
- Click Deny again
Result: The student is notified via email of the denial and the reason provided
Completing Missing Student Information
All student profile information must be complete before you can approve a registration request.
Identifying Incomplete Records in New Requests tab
- Black Text: Student names in black indicate required information is missing
- Blue Text: Student names in blue indicate the profile is complete
Methods to Complete Profiles
- Manual Update: Click Add Student within the request, fill in the missing fields, and click Add Student at the bottom right of the page
- Student Request: Click Send Email to Student, at the bottom left of the page, to send an automated request for them to complete their own profile details
Understanding Finalized Request Statuses
Once a request is no longer active, it moves to the Finalized tab (see image below) with one of the following statuses:
| Status | Definition |
|---|---|
| Approved | The HI approved the student's request to enroll |
| Denied | The HI rejected the student's request to enroll |
| Cancelled | The student chose to cancel their own registration request |
| Expired | No action was taken before the course's Add/Drop period ended |
