The April 2022 release focuses on several features and enhancements including:

• A new Financial Admin Role to provide better control over Financial settings.
• New functionality for managing Financial settings for Home Institutions.

What’s New

Financial Admin Role

The Financial Admin role is a new role within Course Share. Users that are assigned the Financial Admin role will have access to manage the Financial settings for the institution.

Financial Settings for Home Institutions

Home Institutions can now configure their payment settings within Course Share. This new functionality includes managing both ACH and Credit Card settings

Institutions that have an ACH-enabled bank account must provide that account for Acadeum to use for billing purposes. These institutions are also encouraged to provide a credit card as a backup method of payment. ACH accounts will be used for all charges that support ACH as a method of payment. Credit card will be used for any other payments that do not support ACH (e.g., international payments).

Institutions that do not have ACH-enabled accounts must provide a credit card as their primary method of payment. 

Public Pages for Consortia, Institutions, and Courses

The new public pages enable non-authenticated users to browse information related to consortia, institutions, and courses. These public pages allow visitors to view Acadeum offerings prior to logon making it easier to see the wide variety of institutions and courses we offer.

Enhancements

Last Updated Date for Authentication Settings

We’ve added a last updated date to the Authentication Settings to provide better visibility into when these settings are updated.

Update allowed values in Status field on Degree Request API/SFTP

Updated the allowed values for the Status field on Degree Request API/SFTP to include Duplicate. This allows institutions to indicate that they already have this lead from another source.

Accessibility Fixes

We have released several updates that address accessibility bugs.

Sections that were not Scheduled appeared in Student UI

Found and corrected an issue where sections that were not scheduled were appearing in the Student UI.

Approved Courses not appearing in Student UI

Found and corrected an issue where approved courses were not appearing in the Student UI under certain circumstances. 

Corrected timing for Classes Starting Today emails

Updated the timing for when Classes Starting Today emails are sent. This will reduce confusion for students who were receiving these notifications on the previous night.
