The Acadeum Course Share Student Application is available to students whose schools have elected to offer a student specific site to view and request registration into Acadeum network courses. The Acadeum Course Share Student Application provides students with self-service opportunities to:
- search for and request enrollment in courses pre-approved by their school
- enroll in pre-approved courses
- monitor the progress of enrollment requests
- review registration and grade history
- request a status change for courses they are enrolled in (Drop or Withdraw)
- request that a course is added to the list of pre-approved courses offered by their school
The Acadeum Course Share Student Application makes enrolling in courses that your institution has pre-approved more efficient for the student and provides transparency in the enrollment process minimizing the need for students and enrollment coordinators to communicate back and forth via email.
Courses that are pre-approved and mapped in the Acadeum Course Share Administrator Application are automatically visible to students in the Acadeum Course Share Student Application, including the course title, course description, course syllabus, required text, prerequisite courses (if any), course equivalent at their institution, course start and end dates, and whether the course is synchronous or asynchronous. Students can view courses that their institution has already enrolled them in or search for and request enrollment in other courses and track progress of that request*.
Providing students access to the course information that they are either enrolled in or seeking enrollment in ensures that students are better informed about the courses they are enrolled in, putting control and accountability at their fingertips.
