Payment Settings is located in the Acadeum Wallet section of the Admin Center.
This feature was previously housed under Settings > Financial in Acadeum Course Share (ACS).
What types of payment does Acadeum accept?
Acadeum Wallet currently supports two methods of payment:
- Automated Clearing House (ACH)
- Credit Card
If Home Institutions have an ACH-enabled bank account, Acadeum requires you supply that information to reduce costs for transaction fees.
We also encourage institutions to provide a Credit Card, which would be primarily utilized as a backup form of payment.
Note: ACH processing is only supported by the US banking system. If your institution does not have a USA bank account or if you enroll students in Teaching Institutions located outside the USA, you will likely be required to pay via Credit Card. If a Credit Card is not already on file, payment to the Teaching Institution will be delayed until one is provided. An exception to this is if a non-USA institution has a USA bank account.
Who can manage payment methods?
Only users who are assigned the Financial Admin role can manage payment settings. An existing usesr with the Institution Administrator role can assign the Financial Admin role as needed.

Financial Onboarding: First Time Setup
If you are a new Home Institution, you must complete Financial Onboarding PRIOR to enrolling students. If Financial Onboarding is not complete prior to a student's enrollment, Home Institutions run the risk of delaying payment to their partner Teaching Institution.
