Release Summary

The November 2022 release includes updates to Course Share and Degree Share, accessibility improvements, and bug fixes:

Enhancements

Course Share: 

• The Manage Enrollments table has been resized and reorganized. Student ID is now listed under the student name to improve space, and an Info column has been added to include start/end date, drop date, term, and section to maximize the table size and improve accessibility compliance. 
• “High School” has been added as a designation to the Student Profile as a new Level to provide Dual Enrollment users a correct designation for their profile. 

Accessibility Fixes

• Improved screen reader support 
• Appropriate alt-text 
• Correct list markup
• Matching visual labels with accessible names

Degree Share: API & SFTP Updates

• New field creditHoursEarned on degreeCourseEnrollment model
• Sending the Financial Report (aka the Financial Template) to both HI and TIs the day after the last drop date (only applies to certain institutions)
• Changing the location of the bulk DegreeCourseEnrollments_ SFTP export to the “{institutionSFTPPath}/degrees/reports” folder
• Setting up two notifications related to billing: (1) upcoming enrollments to bill the day after the last drop date, and (2) invoice finalization 60 days after the last drop date
• Adding remainingFunds and postalCode to degreeStudent model
• Adding new financial fields to the degreeCourseEnrollment model. These fields are differentialTuition, miscellaneousFees, textbookFee, appliedScholarship, financialAid, learnerPaidAmount, and homeInstitutionPartnerPaidAmount
• Added the ability to filter degreeStudents by “hiStudentId” when using the GET api/degree-students endpoint
