Acadeum considers student conduct to include both academic integrity and professional comportment.
Acadeum offers support to Teaching Institutions and Home Institutions for both consortial and transfer enrollments. The actions taken by an institution in instances of potential misconduct depend upon the enrollment type. Read more about these two enrollment types here: Transcribing Credit: Consortium vs. Transfer Courses.
Contact your institution’s Partner Success Manager or the Acadeum Support team (support@acadeum.com) to request further guidance.
Teaching Institution Responsibilities (consortial enrollments)
Teaching Institutions are asked to report suspected incidents of student misconduct in their courses to Acadeum Support (support@acadeum.com) so that Acadeum can report the incident to the Home Institution. Teaching Institutions are also asked to provide documentation to Acadeum regarding the breach of student conduct. It is appropriate for Teaching Institutions to request an update from Home Institutions regarding action steps taken by the Home Institution to address the breach of conduct.
Home Institution Responsibilities (consortial enrollments)
Home Institutions are asked to address suspected student misconduct in courses taken through Acadeum Course Share (ACS), per their Home Institution policies. Home Institutions may notify the Teaching Institution of the action steps taken to address the breach of student conduct. It is appropriate for Home Institutions to request additional documentation of the student misconduct from the Teaching Institution.
Teaching Institution Responsibilities (transfer enrollments)
Teaching Institutions may take appropriate actions per their Teaching Institution policies. Teaching Institutions are asked to report suspected incidents of student misconduct in their courses to Acadeum Support (support@acadeum.com) so that Acadeum can notify Home Institutions of the occurrence.
